Heat Wave

I've been home in Southern California for a hot minute and let me tell you it's been a very hot minute. I haven't been home for more than a week or 2 at a time for the last couple of years so the 90-100 degree heat is not at all something I'm used to dealing with anymore.

I almost forgot how hot it would be and didn't pack appropriately, but I saw these shorts and decided to pack them. They're one of those clothing items that I've had around forever, love every time I look at them...but I never really wear them. They're nice for when it's really super hot which isn't too often in Santa Cruz, but which were definitely needed in the 95 degree heat today.

This shirt was also such a good find. I've been having such good luck at H&M lately. I always say it's majorly hit or miss for me and as of late, I've found such good stuff. This shirt was only $4 so I got it in pink too, it's so cute and I can wear it with anything.
