Heat

It's been a hot minute. And I mean that in a few ways. First off, it's been a hot minute since I posted anything, woops! Secondly, there's been a crazy heatwave the last week or so in the Bay Area and it's been insane. Like over 100 degrees and this is one of the first days I could comfortably wear a jacket over my outfit.

A lot has happened since I last posted. The day I was in SF, I heard that I got a job and I've since been here for 2 weeks! I love it and it's been really great so far. I also found an adorable studio apartment and have been moving into it. Can't wait to post pictures of it, it's perfect. Anyways, since I've been working and moving I've been purging my closet. Now that I'm graduated, I have this desire to dress more ~professionally~ for some reason. I don't have a strict dress code in my office and I could easily wear jeans every day, but there's something about being a real adult now that makes me want to dress differently.

I've always been a fan of crazy pants and I found these for only $15 at Forever 21 and I had to get them. The colors are perfect because I can totally make them work for fall with a sweater and heeled booties. Since it's way too goddamn hot for that, I went simple with a black t-shirt.

I know that I'm not necessarily daring or crazy unique in my style, but I just find it so fun to find pieces I like for really cheap and take a bunch of pictures in them. I've always had a love/hate thing with blogging because sometimes it feels a little silly. Like hey, are there any of you out there actually reading this? But I enjoy it and I have friends that don't mind snapping pics of me all the time, so hey I'll take that.

I leave for Mexico tomorrow for a few days and I'm so excited. I'm looking forward to laying on the beach, drinking fruity drinks and exploring. And, not gonna lie, I already packed everything a week ago in anticipation.
