Coffee and Donuts

Because I'm so extra and changes outfits in between running around to things in San Francisco, here's post #2.

After Golden Gate Park, we decided to head over to the Mission. I had remembered this donut place my mom and I tried way back when we came to the city after exploring some campuses up here. We headed to Dynamo Donuts, a little stand that sells artisanal donuts and coffee. Do you know how weird/pretentious is is to type artisanal donuts?

Anyways the Mission is full of obnoxious tourists seeking out artisanal treats and cool murals so we blended right in. We snapped a few pics and headed over to Dolores Park.
We were so happy it cleared up because it looked so beautiful up there and we could actually sit out and enjoy our coffee and donuts.

After that, we planned to go the First Fridays in Oakland, but for the second month in a row we managed to get there and not actually go. Instead we just met up with some friends and went to a bar, Eli's Mile High Club.

The backstory of this place is wild. It used to be a jazz club and one day the wife of the owner came in and saw him with another woman who he was cheating with, so she went across the street to their house and got a shot gun and shot them both then went back across the street to hide out. And now it's a hangout spot. They had the best tater tots I've probably ever had so that was a plus.
It was such a great day in both cities and I just love the Bay Area! The best part of the whole day though was that I was offered a full time job so I get to stay here even longer!
